The Standup Sitdown FM radio show brings you sit-down interviews with stand-up comedians and the personality behind the performer. Ed Surname and David Paris present the only platform for comedians to discuss the serious side of their craft in a relaxed chat, without asking ‘tell us a joke’.

If you’re in London, you can listen to the show by just opening your window, enough people have it on that it’s just in the air. Find out what compels a comedian to want to make a room full of strangers laugh, broadcast to an audience of 560,000 (over half a million) LIVE from Lyric Square, Hammersmith, London. The show garnered immediate media coverage and is the only show in station history that is repeated during the week (five times per week).

The show has also been known for incidents of madness, like the hosts staging wild arguments in front of unknowing guests, secretly broadcasting off-air material, tramp buskers playing live songs, burritos being delivered live on air and airing a Gareth Gates song where the track unfortunately stuttered.
